Solving Elliptic Problems with Singular Sources Using Singularity Splitting Deep Ritz Method

چکیده

In this work, we develop an efficient solver based on neural networks for second-order elliptic equations with variable coefficients and a singular source. This class of problems covers general point sources, line the combination point-line sources has broad range practical applications. The proposed approach is decomposing true solution into part that known analytically using fundamental Laplace equation regular satisfies suitable modified PDE smoother source then solving deep Ritz method. A path-following strategy suggested to select penalty parameter enforcing Dirichlet boundary condition. Extensive numerical experiments in two- multi-dimensional spaces or their combinations are presented illustrate efficiency approach, comparative study several existing approaches also given, which shows clearly its competitiveness specific problems. addition, briefly discuss error analysis approach.
